Be helpless

Unable to say yes or no.
Then a stretcher will come from grace
to gather us up.
We are too dull-eyed to see that beauty.
If we say we can, we’re lying.
If we say No, we don’t see it,
That No will behead us
And shut tight our window onto spirit.
So let us rather not be sure of anything,
Beside ourselves, and only that, so
Miraculous beings come running to help.
Crazed, lying in a zero circle, mute,
We shall be saying finally,
With tremendous eloquence, Lead us.
When we have totally surrendered to that beauty,
We shall be a mighty kindness.

Notes:
Please be my guest on August 3rd as the Omaha Healing Arts Center celebrates Rumi. This should truly be a night to remember!
One straight line from here to there. Grrr… need some other colour to hide my green aura.
Still… be helplessly enjoy that day! =)
We are all connected in this magical world and come August 3rd? I’ll have you in my thoughts and I’ll be streaming some energy your way … North on I-29 of course 😉
Oh fine!! Make sure you stream on course. No swerving like, “Oh, look… what’s out there?” 😉
How did the Taoism thingy go?
It was so much fun and very enlightening 🙂 So much fun I am going to sit down and email you about it tomorrow … Until then …
Obviously it was sooo much fun. You said it twice!! 😉
Its the inner child giddiness shining through 🙂
A truly beautiful poet!
I find such purpose and meaning in his words and I’m glad you enjoy them as well. Take care today and please be well. 🙂
