: Traitor :

You may plainly perceive the traitor through his mask; he is well-known everywhere in his true colors; his rolling eyes and his honeyed tones impose only on those who do not know him-

Why am I waking up this morning?

The answer is, hopefully, not because I have to or I should, but rather  I have a sense of purpose and direction for this wonderful day.

Daily Meditation:

Being able to adapt well to a myriad of challenges, to be able to bounce back from a period of difficult times, requires me to have a sense of direction in my life and a belief that I am acting in a way that is consistent with my true personal values.

“acting in a way that is consistent with my true personal values”…

seems so simple but hard work. The only worthy work tho, yes?

I understand. I just went through a 2+week meltdown after a betrayal. I’ve now picked myself back up and am ready to go forward again. Glad you are, too.

We’ll get through this with the help of our friends … I hope you are taking care, smiling and filling your heart with love and compassion 🙂

When we do what we love, life changes, doesn’t it?

Happy for your ride and practice… you so need both for a busy Saturday ahead! =)

As much as I had to pre plan, search for time and place to fit a ride in? It only takes a few pedal strokes to slow down and fall into rhythm of simply being, in the the moment 🙂

When you ride, do you ever feel like someone is following you? And if you were to turn your head back really fast, how many times is there actually someone behind you? (whether another bicyclist, a pedestrian, a motorist, or an animal).

I’ve thought about your question walking this morning and my answer is – No. It has taken quite some time, and a lot of practice, not to worry what is behind me and instead, choosing to focus on me (yes that seems woefully self serving), myself, enjoying the moment, not what lies ahead or behind me. Just smiling and pedaling along 🙂
