A wedding feast today, a funeral lunch tomorrow.  A lavish treat today, as alms to your begging bowl tomorrow.  A fast today, a feast tomorrow.  Thus does Fate spread your food across many givers-

We were nice enough to give Melissa last Monday off due to it being a Federal Holiday or whatever.  Thankfully she took this much-needed break to sit down and write a really nice article for all of us.

Sit back, wiggle around, get comfortable and please put your drink on a coaster!  We gotcha it’s early in the morning…Seriously though chai tea lattes leave rings and we just spruced this place up over the weekend.

Honestly Guilty

Let’s get honest with guilt! When it comes to our own health and wellness we are the ones typically putting the guilt on ourselves. Why? In working with clients and delving into my own thoughts it is pretty clear that most people assign guilt because they didn’t follow through on what they think they SHOULD be doing to stay healthy. It could be one day missed at the gym, one bad meal or falling off the wagon completely…

Recently released from our seldom used “Loogan” series of programs here:

1 KB Swing
1 Perfect Push Up
1 One Legged Squat (each leg)
2 KB Swings
2 Perfect Push Ups
2 One Legged Squats (each leg)
3 KB Swings
3 Perfect Push Ups
3 One Legged Squats (each leg)

So on and so forth for about 30 minutes or until you tap out…Our guess:  Twelve minutes.

    It’s rainy and cold here today (yeah, that’s what happens when you move from Hawaii to Buffalo, NY – serves me right!) … but I’ve been trying my darndest to get out and get running again. It’s been going well, albeit slow and steady. So wish me luck in overcoming the elements and getting in my workout despite my lack of acclimatization. Besides, being cold is for wimps.
