Second Breakfast Perspectiva

One of life’s most interesting reversals is average people thinking they are extraordinary, and extraordinary people thinking they are average-

Take a few minutes to watch the above video a couple of times.  Chelsie Memmel could rip your still beating heart out of your chest even with a torn labrum…Yup go ahead and watch the video again.

Now let’s watch how Chelsie gets on with the balance beam after an injury that would cripple Uncle Mo:

As you go about your morning drinking coconut water and applying kinesio tape like some first grader…Ask yourself: “What the hell am I doing?”

Johanna Quaas and Chelsie Memmel are truly inspiring individuals in our book.

Final de la Copa Stanley

The fans are standing up to them! The security guards are standing up to them! The peanut vendors are standing up to them! And by golly, if I could get down there, I’d be standing up to them-

This concludes our Stanley Cup Finals coverage…Just trying to capture the spirit of the thing!?!

Greetings From San Mateo, Massachusetts!!!

Sometimes, getting up in the morning and brushing your teeth is the hardest part of the day – it all just hurts-

One of the most often asked questions we receive here at CultFit HQ is:  “What drives you guys to post so often?  Where does your passion come from?

It’s pretty simple actually…Sir Tom Brady!!!

Second Breakfast Inspiración

Nonstop; Dance; Keep Moving

“We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once.” – Friedrich Nietzsche

One of my favourite Bruce Lee books is “The Art of Expressing The Human Body.”  That title speaks to me.  When I trail run, sprint, hit the heavy bag, play Chi Sau (sticking hands), dance or play with my children – I try to lose myself in order to gain myself.

I have to keep expressing my soul through different types of movements that seem to share a common thread.  I have to keep moving.  It’s in my nature.

What’s in your nature?

Memorial Day 28 May 2012

Relatives who do not understand your personality,Family and friends who look upon you with derision; Are foolish people who would call it pretty If you pierced your nose with a splinter of gold!-

The Plan-

The Workout-

Rest and Remembrance Day…

Notes:

Today we give thanks to all of the brave men and women who so valiantly served past, present and future.  Without your sacrifice we could not sit down this morning to write about what it means to be free.  One day is not enough time to say “Thank You”…Be well and come home safely!
