Some adoring fan asked awhile back for us to be more concise in our thoughts and stop beating around the bush so much. There is a method to the madness here peeps, patience. Some individuals need to be force-fed and managed in every aspect of their lives. Did you remember to wipe and wash your hands?
This may or may not be one of the more self-absorbed posts we have ever thrown out, so please be patient.
Ever since Since Francis Galton wrote the phrase ‘nature and nurture’ in 1874 scientists and fitness professionals have used (and overused) this phrase to describe the factors that interact to promote high levels of human achievement (i.e., expertise-ELITE).
The majority of the staff here at CultFit HQ consider themselves a product from the earth and rather simple to boot. And you know what? They are probably the most centered fitness agrarians in the biz.
On a daily basis they humble the hipsters here in all aspects of life. By the time Uncle Chaz finally gets geared and tech(d) up for a run…Brother Mo has been doing hill sprints for 20 minutes and well on his way to a program well done.
The Plan-
Being apart of the Random Fitness problem has its benefits. Just dig up some old fitness research and re-spin, re-shape it and viola! You’re a genius!!!
Remember this peeps: You yourself are the best single source for advice when it comes to being healthy, happy and complete.
Or you could always go out and pick up one of these to make you feel better:

From time to time we need a deeper sense of how awesome it is to be alive. Yeah, that sounds corny but it’s true. Take a moment to watch this video today and if you take nothing more than witnessing the pure joy in these athletes actions and how effortlessly they go about having fun? Time well spent in our book.
For the X-Fit apes out there that live life with the blinders on, watch this.
Simplicity in form and function, pure movement and total body awareness.
The Plan-
Subconsciously your brain is working against you every second of the day. Well what does this mean? Do you pack a gallon jug of water with you to work out with? Wear extra clothes that you have to take off? Use the restroom four times during a program? Carry a cell phone thingy or other electronic device that you just have to check? Chat up your mates and spend time staring at the chicas?
The Workout-
Pulled from the “Uncle Sachmo” series here at the esteemed CultFit archives:
400m Heavy Farmers Walk
100m Waiters Walk
5 Minutes of the following (once you pick the weight up, it stays up the full amount of time!)
Kneeling One Arm Press
Hinge (or a swing variation-hard style here, no X-Fit technique…)
Hinge Walk Out Push Up
400m Rack Hold Farmers Walk (1/2 bw)
Notes: It’s time to let your brain know who it really works for, ENJOY!!!

Pop quiz time peeps!
Did you enjoy yourself and the company of others over the weekend?
Did you abuse yourself mentally and physically the days after Thanksgiving due to the fact that society makes you feel guilty about eating?
The Plan-
You know you want to go any make yourself “whole” again today by abusing your body and basically doing something you will regret…
The Workout-
From our “Rejuvenation” series at the CultFit Archives:
10k Trail Run…Walk/Jog/Jog/Walk followed by:
Hydrate Today- If you feel thirsty during the run, STOP! Hydration is a process and if you drink water because you are thirsty during a program it’s too late. Build your “Water” foundation for the week ahead.
We almost never use rep schemes around here for the simple reason that everyone is unique and “special”…
Today only use 2-3-5 for the following lifts:
One Arm Press
Kneeling Press
Perfect Goblet Squats
We are shooting for 100 total reps using the above scheme!
Notes: Listen and pay attention to your body today. Aches and pains have a way of manifesting themselves over a prolonged layoff so do pay heed to the feedback. Most importantly, ENJOY!!!
